This home was judged good at the last full inspection. At the interim inspection, Ofsted judges that it has sustained effectiveness. Children are making good progress while living at this home. Children are busy with activities and being members of youth groups. Swimming is valued as an important life skill and children are attending lessons to become confident, and safe, in the water. Children enjoy attending clubs for gymnastics, trampoline skills and scouts. By taking part in swimming lessons and belonging to clubs, children can socialise with other children and begin to form friendships through these shared experiences. Older children are preparing to be independent as they successfully combine part-time employment with vocational studies. At the home they are increasingly cooking more meals for themselves and managing their money to shop for food and personal needs.
