The provision is good

Children are happy and settled in the care of this experienced childminder. They have secure relationships with her and seek reassurance and cuddles throughout the day. The childminder knows the children very well. She ensures she has key information from parents before their children start regarding their individual needs and interests. This supports children during the settling-in period and makes the transition from home a smooth one.

need to do better?

2 June 2025 appreciate the childminder's patience and consistency when working together, for example when supporting their children with toilet training. They are extremely happy with the incredible warmth and reliable care the childminder provides. n Children actively engage in outdoor play within the well-equipped garden. They demonstrate great interest in a planting activity, and gain knowledge about growth processes as they scoop soil into pots and plant seeds. The childminder talks with the children as they plant. However, on occasion, there is less emphasis on supporting younger children's language fully. n Children demonstrate a positive attitude to learning and focus for long periods on activities that interest them. They particularly love filling up their watering cans and pouring the water, noticing that the soil becomes wetter. This supports children to become interested to experiment and learn more.
