One child has built trusting relationships with staff. Another child who recently moved into the home is building good relationships with staff. One child is now in education having had a significant gap in his education before moving to the home. He now consistently attends education and is looking forward to starting a college course. The other child does not yet have an education placement. This ensures that children are located promptly and welcomed home. A police officer said, ‘The manager and staff are proactive, always look for children and really care.’ After an incident of a child going missing from home, staff request an independent return interview for the child from the placing local authority.
