n The playroom is well resourced to meet children's needs. The childminder provides before- and after-school care only. He understands the importance of liaising with schools, so that he can continue to complement children's learning through a play-based approach. He also explains the importance of continuing to promote children's independence, respect, and good behaviour to help promote children's positive attitudes to learning. The childminder has house rules he would use, so that children learn to respect simple rules and boundaries. n The childminder explains how he would use different activities and resources to continue to promote children's skills and knowledge. There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
