children. There is no understanding shown of assessment and monitoring of progress or responding to specific needs. n The provider demonstrates an understanding of healthy eating and how to manage allergies. For example, she describes providing a range of food, such as homemade chapatis. The provider explains how she would communicate with parents and invite the children to bring in food from home, to give them the opportunity to speak about different cultures. n There are comprehensive documents, including a range of policies, such as safeguarding and complaints. The provider understands the requirement to record children's hours of attendance and how to record accidents to children. n The provider shows some awareness of signs and symptoms of abuse and knows the correct reporting procedures. In addition, she understands how vulnerable children are more likely to be targeted in terms of grooming.

This provision does not meet requirements
There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
