skills and drive improvement. She has failed to improve the standards of care and opportunities for early learning at this setting. n Although the childminder has attended recent safeguarding training, her knowledge is insufficient. The childminder does not consistently demonstrate a good understanding of the relevant agencies to contact if she is concerned about the welfare of a child or if they are at risk of harmful cultural practices, such as female genital mutilation. n The childminder does not gather all the information required when children start or ensure that their attendance at the setting is recorded. Information is not held for a reasonable period of time after some children have left the setting. This is a breach of EYFS requirements.
p.2
This provision does not meet requirements
There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
