This provision does not meet requirements
n Despite taking effective steps to meet all the actions set at her previous inspection, further breaches of legal requirements have been identified. A weakness in recording means that records of attendance do not always contain all the required detail. Also, records relating to individual children that the childminder has previously cared for are not available. n The childminder has undertaken professional development to increase her knowledge and understanding of the learning and development requirements. For example, she researches early years subjects through reading documents and relevant books. n The childminder has welcomed support from her local authority quality and improvement adviser. She has created a well-presented and child-centred playroom, and significantly increased the range of activities that she intends to offer. This will help children to make progress in their learning and development.

She will find out how these are prepared and served, to meet children's dietary preferences. n The childminder understands the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle, for example, by providing lots of opportunities for children to be active. She also intends to offer healthy snacks. n The childminder's home and garden are well maintained and free from hazards. increase her knowledge of child protection issues. She demonstrates a satisfactory awareness of possible indicators of abuse and her ability to report any concerns without delay. The childminder fully understands the process she needs to follow in the event of an allegation being made against herself or a member of her household.
p.2
This provision does not meet requirements
There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
