The provision is outstanding
The childminder has an exceptionally good understanding of the babies and toddlers she cares for, despite some being relatively new to her setting. She uses their starting points, her home and many outings to plan and provide exciting play opportunities that encourage them to explore and discover new things. The childminder provides children with an excellent range of freely accessible toys, resources and play experiences. She uses these to continually build on children's interests and to encourage them to develop their communication and language skills. For example, she uses familiar songs and role-play experiences extremely well to help toddlers repeat their favourite experiences and become familiar with many new words and sounds. She uses assessment exceptionally well to show the difference she makes in helping children to make swift progress in their learning and development.
