p.1
The provision meets requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
p.1
Inspection activities
The inspector discussed with the childminder how she intends to deliver the educational programmes for children and viewed documents for recording their progress. This included information to be shared with parents and other childcare providers. The inspector toured the premises to be used for childcare and saw some of the play equipment available for younger children. The inspector and the childminder discussed other equipment that was available and would be retrieved from storage to meet their care and learning needs. The inspector looked at all of the childminder's documentation such as training certificates, policies and recording systems she will use when caring for young children. The childminder explained her plans for the continued development of her service and the training she feels would be useful.
