My colleagues and I enjoyed our visit to your school and welcomed the opportunity to see you at work and hear your views. We judged your school to be outstanding which means that many aspects of your education are exceptionally good. What makes your school outstanding is its leadership, the excellent curriculum and the exceptional way in which the school cares, guides and supports you. As a result you make good progress no matter what your background. The school engages with your parents and carers and provides you all with equal opportunities to learn and develop extremely well. Outcomes for pupils Good
Pupils make good progress over time from average starting points. This is due to the good quality of teaching they typically experience and their positive attitudes towards their studies. Senior leaders have introduced improved systems to establish pupils’ starting points when they join the school in Year 7. This enables them to measure progress more accurately. Pupils who left the school in 2017 made good progress over time and achieved well in their GCSE examinations, including in English and mathematics. They achieved particularly well in science, statistics, religious studies, information and communication technology and in their heritage languages. The school’s results compare favourably with other schools in Luton. In the past few years, the school has achieved results which compare positively with not only the best schools in Luton, but also with all secondary schools nationally. The good progress made in Year 11 in 2017 is also replicated across other year groups
- Stopsley Community Primary School17 Nov 2010
Hitchin Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU2 7UG
Inspection of Stopsley Community Primary School, Luton, LU2 7UG
The school has been given a 'notice to improve' which means that other inspectors will visit the school again to check that progress is being made. We have asked the governors, headteacher and staff to concentrate on making improvements to ensure that: you all achieve well in lessons and make good progress teaching in all lessons is at least good lessons cover all subjects in the curriculum well the information teachers have about your progress it is used well to plan your work and to set targets for you to work towards. Many parents and carers have told us how the interim headteacher has achieved a lot this term to ensure that everybody behaves well and that your efforts are celebrated in assemblies. We agree with them. You can all play your part in helping to make your school a better place to learn by working hard and always striving to do you best.

Inspection of Richmond Hill School, Luton, LU2 7JL
The school is well led by the headteacher and deputy and there is a good team spirit among the staff, who want you all to do your very best. You are happy in school and enjoy your lessons. You behave very well and are kind to each other. You are making good progress in your schoolwork and outstanding progress with your behaviour. Teaching and the care you receive from all staff is outstanding. You know how to keep healthy by eating the right food and taking exercise. You enjoy the good range of activities provided for you in and out of school hours. You told me that you feel safe in school and are well looked after.
- Denbigh Primary School13 Jan 2012Satisfactory
Denbigh Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU3 1NS
Inspection of Denbigh Primary School, Luton LU3 1NS
Your school provides you with a satisfactory education. By the end of Year 6 your achievement and progress are satisfactory, although in some year groups, for example in Years 4 and 6, you make better progress than in others. By the end of Year 2 and Year 6 your attainment is broadly average in reading, writing and mathematics.
