Social Responsibility and Community Cohesion
The visit provided much useful evidence for the further development of community cohesion. I noted, in particular:
p.1
Social Responsibility and Community Cohesion
The very good awareness and understanding of local communities, to provide responsive courses through particularly successful partnership, collaboration and project working The very good development of students’ representative skills that enables them to participate fully and inclusively in college life and contribute to quality improvement The well-resourced enrichment programme, supported by the Community Campus, that promotes a strong sense of belonging to the college and develops students’ awareness and understanding of diversity, enabling them to contribute well to the college and their community The need to evaluate further the impact of community cohesion activities on students and the community.
