Ofsted survey inspection programme – 14-19 reforms
Swanlea School has demonstrated a clear strategy and commitment to making the Diploma successful. The level 2 Diploma in IT is well organised and there was robust selection of the young people who would be successful and represent an ideal role model for their peers. There is innovative use of these young people as ambassadors for the Diploma, especially at option events and school assemblies. Young people on these programmes have developed improved vocational and social skills together with employability skills and speak positively about their improved confidence and self-esteem.
