The visit provided valuable information which will contribute to our national evaluation and reporting. Published reports are likely to list the names of the contributing institutions, but individual institutions will not be identified in the main text without their consent. All feedback letters will be published on the Ofsted website at the end of each half term.

Good Practice Identified:

 good opportunities for pupils to take on responsibility within the school, develop collaborative skills and engage in teamwork  pupils’ involvement in raising funds for charity, which helps develop their knowledge and understanding of poverty  contributions from various subjects to develop pupils’ financial capability  activities for gifted and talented pupils, which help develop their problem-solving skills  visits to local employers and activity centres which help to increase pupils’ understanding of the world of work  visits to the school by adults from different occupations which help to link the curriculum more directly to the ‘real’ world.
