Thank you for your hospitality and co-operation, and that of your staff and students during my visit on 22 January as part of our survey on 14-19 developments in the local area.

Ofsted survey inspection programme – 14-19 reforms

The visit provided valuable information which will contribute to our national evaluation and reporting. Published reports are likely to list the names of the contributing institutions, but individual institutions will not be identified in the main text.

Ofsted survey inspection programme – 14-19 reforms

Sherbourne Fields is clearly a full partner in the local 14-19 federation. This involvement helps to enhance an already broad curriculum by allowing students to follow vocational courses such as motor vehicle and land & environment. It also means that you can share your particular expertise in providing for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities with the other secondary schools in the area.

Ofsted survey inspection programme – 14-19 reforms

It was very good to talk to your students in Key Stage 4 and in the sixth form. They are highly motivated by what they are doing, they enjoy their courses and, in their individual ways, they demonstrate a strong sense of achievement.
