Alexandra House 33 Kingsway London WC2B 6SE T 0207 421 6800 F 0207 421 6707 Ofsted helpline 08456 404045 To the pupils of: Crawford Village Primary School Crawford Village Skelmersdale Lancashire WN8 9QP 12 July 2006 Dear Pupils Thank you for the warm welcome you gave me when I visited your school. I was grateful for the way you chatted to me about your school and this has helped me to write this report. Your parents are correct in their opinion that yours is a good and friendly school. You told me you enjoy school and I am pleased you attend regularly. You said that you feel safe and I am sure this is because your staff are caring and know you all very well. You informed me that you enjoy lessons and I agree teaching is good and this enables you to make good progress. I have asked Mr Kinney and the governors to look at the progress some pupils are making in writing and also to see if more use can be made of the attractive, outdoor space now available
