Text from letter to pupils explaining the findings of the inspection
Alexandra House 33 Kingsway London WC2B 6SE T 0207 421 6800 F 0207 421 6707 www.ofsted.gov.uk The pupils of Seaton C of E Junior School Seaton Park Seaton Workington Cumbria CA14 1HA 21 September 2005 Dear pupils, Thank you for the warm welcome you gave us when we visited your school recently. The conversations that we had with groups and individuals were very interesting and we enjoyed watching you at work. There are lots of things we liked about your school. Some of them are: your very good behaviour, politeness and friendliness the way you listen well to your teachers and work hard the interesting things you learn about and the many out-of-school activities the care that your teachers show in keeping you safe and happy the way your school is run, including your contribution through the school council. What we have asked your school to do now: to set work that stretches all of you in your lessons, especially in English and mathematics.
