What this report says

In plain English

mixed

Ofsted found the nursery was not meeting some legal requirements at a visit in September 2026, and a welfare requirements notice was issued. These concerned staffing, supervision, outdoor space safety and regular risk checks. At a further visit in October 2026, inspectors found these actions had been met and the nursery remains registered.

  • Significant improvements made to the outdoor space, which is now safe and appropriate
  • Further risk assessments implemented with regular, accurate checks in place
  • Inspectors are satisfied that the safeguarding and welfare actions raised have been met

To improve

  • Staffing arrangements and supervision of children had to improve to meet needs
  • Staff deployment had to ensure all children are always within sight or hearing

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
