Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 10 August 2026, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The provision was graded to be urgent improvement in at least one evaluation area. The inspection report card sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 8 September 2026 we carried out an unannounced regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection. We found that the provider had improved their recruitment process to ensure all information obtained through recruitment checks are robustly assessed. They have since updated policies and procedure in the event of an allegation being made against a member of staff. In addition, all staff have received updated training on the whistleblowing procedures and demonstrate secure understanding. Staff and leaders have received additional training to strengthen their understanding of their roles and responsibilities and to increase their confidence in carrying them out effectively. Staff have received training to support children's behaviour, and they are working collaboratively to ensure that practice is consistent across the setting. Leaders have strengthened their oversight of staff practice by

conducting daily check-ins with staff to discuss any concerns or issues. These discussions include monitoring the environment for potential hazards and ensuring that any risks are promptly addressed to prioritise children's safety.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 18 September 2026, the provider notified us about matters relating to whistleblowing and safeguarding policies and procedures. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of allegations against staff. On 23 September 2026, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to suitable people. On 28 September 2026, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider has failed to ensure that staff followed the whistleblowing procedures in a timely manner. In addition, we found new areas of concern. On 2 October 2026, we carried out an unannounced regulatory visit and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider remains registered with Ofsted.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
