In plain English

mixed

Ofsted received concerns in July 2026 about several areas, including behaviour, premises, special educational needs and record keeping. On 9 October 2026, a regulatory telephone call found some requirements were not being met. Going well

  • The provider notified Ofsted of matters relating to risk assessment and whistleblowing.
  • The provider carried out a comprehensive internal investigation after the notification.
  • Risk assessments have been further embedded across the setting.
  • Leaders reviewed support for children during transition periods and communication with parents has been strengthened.

To improve

  • Some requirements were not being met at the time of the telephone call.
  • Children's needs must continue to be met during transitions between rooms.

Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 25 June 2026, the provider notified us about matters relating to risk assessment and whistleblowing. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of significant incidents.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 8 July 2026, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to supporting and understanding children's behaviour, safety and suitability of premises, environment and equipment, special educational needs, information and record keeping and key person.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 9 October 2026, we carried out a regulatory telephone call with the provider. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. The provider has undertaken a comprehensive internal investigation following the notification. Risk assessments have been further embedded, and staff have received additional training on whistleblowing procedures to strengthen safeguarding practice. In addition, leaders have reviewed the support some children may need during transition periods. Communication and information sharing with parents and carers has also been strengthened. This has helped to ensure children's needs are met and they transition successfully when they move into the next room.

p.1

Summary of outcome

The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
