Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 19 August 2026 and the 21 September 2026, the provider notified us about matters relating to staff: child ratios, safety and suitability of premises, environment and equipment, and concerns about children's safety and welfare. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of a significant event.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 29 September 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

This includes, split changing mats, overflowing bins and dirty potties. Additionally, ensure babies milk bottles, children's milk cartons and any food left out for children is properly stored in line with national guidance

p.2

Summary of outcome

We found the provider and staff had reviewed and improved all risk assessments. These now cover children's movements between rooms, access to play areas and potential hazards. They have introduced door alarm security checks. The setting now has daily end- of-day checks for staff and management to ensure rooms and storage areas remain safe, tidy and organised. There are clear systems in place for all staff to maintain high standards and reduce cross-contamination. The provider has introduced a clear plan for staff supervision which will identify any staff weaknesses, address training needs and provide any required coaching and support.

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.3

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
