Leadership and governance Expected standard
Leaders ensure that the requirements for registration are continually met. They are reflective and act on suggestions from parents and other partners. For example, they organise family days to promote what the setting has to offer. Leaders offer staff effective supervision, coaching and line management. Staff report the benefits of this focused approach.
p.1
Leadership and governance Expected standard
Leaders are committed to removing barriers to engagement and work closely with the on- site school to learn about children's individual needs so that adjustments can be made and care can be tailored. They welcome involvement in multi-agency working so that they can contribute to safeguarding the most vulnerable children. Leaders have embedded systems to support staff's wellbeing. One example of this is that they have identified a team of staff support officers who are available to offer staff emotional support if needed. Staff explain that they enjoy their work and feel valued for what they do.
p.1
Leadership and governance Expected standard
Leaders encourage staff's continual professional development and offer a package of training which equips staff to fulfil their roles well. In some cases, leaders have supported staff to complete higher-level qualifications and progress in their career through promotions. Additionally, staff receive training to support children's mental and physical health.
p.2
Leadership and governance Expected standard
Leaders encourage parental and community engagement. They organise events where families can develop their teamworking skills and enjoy quality time together. Leaders support community initiatives, such as by purchasing local produce for children's snacks. This helps children to learn about what makes their community unique and feel a sense of connection to their local area.

About this inspection
We carried out this inspection under sections 49 and 50 of the Childcare Act 2006 on the quality and standards of provision that is registered on the Early Years Register. The registered person must ensure that this provision complies with the statutory framework for children's learning, development and care, known as the early years foundation stage.

About this inspection
There were no early years children on roll at the time of this inspection. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with leaders and an inspection of the premises, equipment and any relevant documentation. When there are no early years children on roll, inspectors evaluate and grade only leadership and governance, as there is no reliable evidence from other evaluation areas through which to assess the impact on children.
