What this report says

In plain English

mixed

The nursery met its legal duties after an allergy-plan action; Ofsted is taking no further action on a late notification.

Ofsted received a late notification about health and safeguarding matters, which was an offence, but Ofsted decided not to take further action. A regulatory visit on 29 September 2026 found the provider was not meeting one requirement, relating to keeping allergy action plans up to date and shared with all staff. On 6 October 2026 the provider showed it had met this action and remains registered.

Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the¿Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 10 July 2026, the provider notified us about matters relating to health and safeguarding policies and procedures. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted. However, the provider failed to notify Ofsted of this incident within the required timescales, which is an offence. On this occasion, Ofsted are not taking any further action.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 29 September 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. They had reinforced expectations regarding allergen checks and label verification with relevant staff, to ensure children's dietary needs are met. We also found the provider was not meeting one of the requirements. We have issued an action for the provider to take within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 6 October 2026, the provider responded to the action set. We found that the provider had put in place procedures to ensure that allergy action plans are appropriately maintained. They have reviewed these with parents and shared them with staff to meet children's dietary and medical needs. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
