Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage . If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. On 6 July 2026, we received concerns that this provider was not meeting some of these requirements. On 15 September 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting requirements 3.92 risk assessments, 3.79 safety of premises, 3.80 safety of premises, 3.86 sleeping arrangements, 3.87 toilets and intimate hygiene and 3.48 Staff:child ratios. Following this visit, we served the provider with a Welfare Requirements Notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

Summary of outcome

On 24 September 2026, we completed a further regulatory visit. We found the provider had taken suitable action to remove or minimise hazards to children. She now makes sure the premises are ready for children arriving and continues to check for any hazards throughout the day. When children use the toilet, the provider ensures it is flushed and clean. All cleaning products and hazardous chemicals are stored securely. A safety gate has been installed in the kitchen to prevent children's access to this area, and to pet food and water bowls. The provider has a travel cot where children under 12 months sleep with a fitted sheet and cellular blankets. Older children now sleep on waterproof mats with fitted sheets and blankets. We are satisfied with the action the provider has taken. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
