Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.2

Summary of outcome

On 19 August 2026, the provider responded to the actions set. We were not satisfied with their response and therefore carried out a further regulatory visit on 22 September 2026. We found that the provider had ensured that all fire exits are free from obstruction and staff understand how to maintain this practice. The provider has improved the changing facility areas. These are now hygienic and equipment is stored in another more appropriate area. Staff understand how to maintain these areas to promote children's health. The provider and managers have supported and coached staff to help them to understand how to support and manage children's behaviour more appropriately. We also found that the provider had not improved their risk assessment practice to ensure hazards are minimised to assure children's safety. Further concerns regarding staff: child ratios and training and skills were also identified during the visit. We have therefore served a welfare requirements notice. This

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.3

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
