Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 2 June 2026, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to safeguarding policies and procedures; key person; child: adult ratios; health; and safety and suitability of premises, environment and equipment. On 18 August 2026, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to risk assessment.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 4 September 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. The provider had taken action to ensure children were always supervised effectively by staff. The provider had strengthened arrangements for how staff recorded and shared information with parents about accidents that children sustained at the setting.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We found the provider was not meeting some other requirements. We have issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 10 September 2026, the provider responded to the actions set. We found that the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures, including identifying and managing allegations made against staff. They had undertaken a thorough risk assessment of all areas of the nursery and had taken appropiate steps to mitigate any hazards to children. The provider had increased their knowledge of revised EYFS requirements. This included a review of safe sleeping arrangements. The provider had made changes to the arrangements for children's sleep, strengthening safety precautions. For example, they now ensure children are laid to sleep on a waterproof mattress. Finally, the provider has reviewed and amended recruitment processes to make sure staff do not start working or volunteering before an enhanced criminal records check and barred list check is obtained.

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
