Leadership and governance Urgent improvement
The childminder is not aware of all her statutory duties and does not ensure she meets them. She does not have a clear understanding of her safeguarding responsibilities. This impacts on the safety of children. The childminder has not ensured that assistants have passed all required checks before allowing them to have unsupervised access to children. This means that she cannot be ensured of their suitability to work with children. The childminder has not completed robust vetting procedures. She has not sought a reference for assistants. This means that she is not aware of potential safeguarding risks and cannot ensure assistants are suitable for the role. The childminder has not notified Ofsted of changes that could impact her suitability to work with children. These breaches to the requirements of the 'Statutory framework for the foundation stage' compromise children's safety.

About this inspection
We carried out this inspection under sections 49 and 50 of the Childcare Act 2006 on the quality and standards of provision that is registered on the Early Years Register. The registered person must ensure that this provision complies with the statutory framework for children's learning, development and care, known as the early years foundation stage.

About this inspection
There were no early years children present at the time of this inspection.
