p.1
Information about this children's home
The manager registered with Ofsted July 2025 and resigned with immediate effect in December 2025. The responsible individual also resigned in December 2025.
p.1
This monitoring visit
On 11 December 2025, the registered manager for the home contacted Ofsted to advise that they were resigning from their role with immediate effect. On 12 December 2025, the responsible individual for the home contacted Ofsted to advise that they were also resigning from their role. The director of the company informed Ofsted on 15 December 2025 that the home did not have enough staff to provide safe care for children. Ofsted was of the view that should children move into the home, they would be at risk of harm due to the lack of experienced, suitable, permanent leadership and an insufficient level of staff to safely care for them. On 16 December 2025, Ofsted issued a notice restricting accommodation at the home.
p.1
This monitoring visit
A visit was carried out on 9 February 2026 to monitor the provider's adherence to the notice restricting accommodation. Following this visit, a further notice restricting accommodation was issued by Ofsted on 11 February 2026.

This monitoring visit
This visit was carried out to monitor the provider's adherence to the further notice restricting accommodation and progress in recruiting suitable managers and sufficient staff for the home. Inspection report for children's home - monitoring visit: 2809243 2 OFSTED USE ONLY
p.1
This monitoring visit
No children have lived at the home since it registered, and no children have moved into the home since the notices restricting accommodation have been issued. Therefore, the current notice restricting accommodation has been adhered to.
p.2
This monitoring visit
A manager has been appointed and offered the position subject to successful assessment of fitness by Ofsted. The manager has drafted an action plan to review current policies and procedures and address any shortfalls identified.
p.2
This monitoring visit
A responsible individual has been appointed and offered the position subject to a successful suitable person assessment by Ofsted. The responsible individual has drafted a checklist to audit the home's status regarding compliance with regulations and guidance.
p.2
This monitoring visit
As a result, there is now an interim management team in place to provide leadership and oversight at the home.
p.2
This monitoring visit
Leaders have not recruited sufficient permanent staff to provide safe care for children. The provider has interviewed applicants and is awaiting checks and references to be completed. In addition, there is no evidence on recruitment files that references received for the manager and responsible individual have been verified.
p.2
This monitoring visit
Following the visit, on the same day, additional information that was not present in recruitment files reviewed was sent to the inspector. This information raises concerns regarding the provider's ability to fully assess safeguarding concerns highlighted in references.
p.2
This monitoring visit
As a result of this visit, the restriction of accommodation notice has been rescinded and replaced with a 3-month notice of intention to accommodate.
