Leadership and governance Expected standard
Leaders provide effective oversight of the club and have established systems that support the safe, inclusive and consistent delivery of the provision. They articulate a clear vision centred on ensuring that children feel safe, valued and included. Leaders demonstrate an unwavering commitment and speak passionately about meeting the needs of all children, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. They work closely with parents, school staff and external professionals to develop a detailed understanding of children's individual needs. Additionally, they adapt staffing levels, activities and support accordingly. This collaborative approach helps remove barriers to participation and ensures children can access the full range of experiences the club offers. Leaders have established effective partnerships with the host school, enabling information about children's routines, needs and support strategies to be shared appropriately. This

Leadership and governance Expected standard
Leaders maintain robust systems to ensure statutory responsibilities are met. Staff complete a thorough induction, receive mandatory safeguarding training and have regular opportunities to discuss safeguarding updates and practice through termly team meetings. Leaders monitor practice through ongoing communication and ensure policies and procedures are understood and implemented consistently. Recruitment procedures are rigorous and include appropriate suitability checks before staff begin working with children.

Leadership and governance Expected standard
Staff wellbeing and professional development are given careful consideration. Leaders use regular supervision and team meetings to review practice, identify training needs and promote consistency across the club. Staff work together to reflect on activities, children's interests and the organisation of the environment to ensure experiences remain engaging and inclusive. Leaders also actively seek the views of children, parents and staff to evaluate the quality of the provision and identify priorities for further improvement, demonstrating a reflective approach and a commitment to continuous development.

About this inspection
We carried out this inspection under sections 49 and 50 of the Childcare Act 2006 on the quality and standards of provision that is registered on the Early Years Register. The registered person must ensure that this provision complies with the statutory framework for children's learning, development and care, known as the early years foundation stage.

About this inspection
There were no early years children present and/or on roll at the time of this inspection. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with leaders and an inspection of the premises, equipment, and any relevant documentation. When there are no early years children present, inspectors only evaluate and grade leadership and governance as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess the impact on children of other evaluation areas.
