Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 13 March 2026, 23 March 2026, and 30 March 2026, the provider notified us of incidents that occurred at the setting relating to Paediatric first aid, accident or injury, risk assessments and staff: child ratios. The notifications mean that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of significant events.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 2 April 2026, the provider notified us of an incident that occurred at the setting, this was in relation to concerns about children's safety and welfare.

Summary of outcome

On 23 June we received concerns that the provider was not meeting some of the requirements in relation to staff: child ratio, special educational needs, supervision of staff and supporting and understanding children's behaviour.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 7 July 2026, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The report card and inspection outcome will be published in due course. Following the inspection, we served a welfare requirements notice on 14 July 2026. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

On 20 July 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection. We found the provider had met two of the actions. The provider has ensured that staff understand how to implement effective risk assessment procedures for children playing outside and has ensured that staff are effectively deployed to meet the needs of all children. The provider had not met one of the actions set in the welfare requirement notice. We served another welfare requirements notice on 22 July 2026. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
