Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

On 18 August 2026, the childminder responded to the actions set. We found the childminder had attended online designated safeguarding lead training to refresh their understanding about the actions to take in the event of any allegations. The childminder had improved their knowledge of the requirement to implement their safeguarding policy and procedures, including to refer allegations to the local authority designated officer and to notify Ofsted. We also found that the childminder has undertaken effective risk assessment to ensure that children are not exposed to risk, including in the outdoor area. We are satisfied the childminder has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised.
