Leadership and governance Expected standard
Leaders are committed to providing high standards of care. Through their robust self- evaluation and compliance procedures, they have a thorough understanding of the quality of the provision. Leaders show a clear awareness of the strengths and areas for development at the club, enabling them to take strategic action that supports children's wellbeing and welfare. They actively seek and value the views of parents and carers, club staff and children and use this feedback to drive continuous improvement and further enhance children's experiences.

This helps to ensure that appropriate support is in place for these children.

Leadership and governance Expected standard
The central senior leadership team provides clear accountability and effective oversight of the club. Leaders demonstrate a secure understanding of their roles and responsibilities and ensure that statutory requirements are consistently met. Rigorous safer recruitment procedures are in place, including maintaining the ongoing suitability checks of staff in order to work with children. Leaders regularly monitor staff practice through observations and provide timely, constructive feedback to support continual improvement. They ensure staff benefit from a programme of professional development that continually strengthens their knowledge, skills and practice. Leaders also prioritise staff wellbeing and ensure that systems and procedures are efficient and do not create unnecessary workload.

About this inspection
We carried out this inspection under sections 49 and 50 of the Childcare Act 2006 on the quality and standards of provision that is registered on the Early Years Register. About this inspection
There were no early years children present and/or on roll at the time of this inspection. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with the leaders and staff and an inspection of the premises, equipment and any relevant documentation. When there are no early years children present, inspectors only evaluate and grade leadership and governance as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess the impact on children of other evaluation areas.
