Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the¿Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 23 April and 7 May 2026, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to safeguarding policies and procedures, concerns about children's safety and welfare, supporting and understanding children's behaviour, safety and suitability of premises, environment and equipment and information and record keeping. On 11 May 2026, the provider notified us about matters relating to the same requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 19 May 2026, the provider notified us about the matters relating to references. The notifications mean that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of significant events.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 15 July 2026, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. In addition, the provider shared relevant documents and updates on 21, 23 and 29 July 2026. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. The provider has focused on upskilling staff's knowledge and understanding of their responsibilities in relation to concerns about children's safety and welfare. This has included providing additional training for staff on the provider's safeguarding policy and updated whistleblowing policies and procedures. The provider has ensured that staff have revisited the setting's policies and procedures for reporting accidents and injuries. The provider has also strengthened their procedures for safer recruitment, including obtaining suitable references, to ensure that staff are suitable to work with children. These actions have supported staff to feel confident and competent in their roles and responsibilities for keeping children safe.

p.1

Summary of outcome

The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

Publication of complaints

We publish details of complaints made against childminders, home childcarers and childcare providers where we or the provider have taken action in order to meet legal requirements. We publish details of complaints on our website for a period of five years.
