Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 19 June 2026, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to risk assessment, suitable people and changes that must be notified to Ofsted.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We suspended the provider's registration on 19 June 2026 because we believed children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children. The provider has a right to appeal against a suspension. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 22 June 2026 we received additional concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to information and record keeping and key person.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 3 July 2026, the provider appealed the decision to suspend registration to an independent external tribunal.

p.1

Summary of outcome

The suspension remains in place while the Health, Education and Social Care First-tier Tribunal hears the appeal. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 9 July 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

n ensure that relevant information shared with parents and carers is accurate and effectively supports a regular two-way flow of information to ensure the setting is safe and efficiently managed, and the needs of all children are met

p.1

Summary of outcome

n in order to fully support children's language and communication skills, carefully consider the use of dummies so that children do not routinely have them when they are not needed for comfort. On 9 July 2026, we lifted the suspension because the provider took appropriate action to deal with the matter that led to the suspension. We are satisfied that the identified risk of harm to children has been removed.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 17 July 2026, the provider responded to the actions set. On 22 July 2026 we carried out another regulatory visit to monitor the impact of the actions taken. We found that the provider has reviewed and updated their arrival and departure policy to strengthen procedures for more accurate record keeping. The policy has been shared with all staff. In addition, management now audit the accuracy of records, including records for parents and the attendance register. Formal staff training is also scheduled for 27 July.

p.2

Summary of outcome

The provider has developed and implemented a policy and procedure regarding the use of dummies, to further support children's language and communication skills. This has been and shared with all staff and parents, along with a supporting information letter. Management will monitor the effective implementation of the policy with regular observations of practice and through supervision meetings. Formal staff training is also scheduled for 27 July. We are satisfied the provider has met the requirements. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
