Summary of outcome
On 8 June 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection.
p.2
Summary of outcome
We found the provider had met some of the safeguarding and welfare actions but not others. We found that safeguarding policies and procedures had been updated. These are now in line with local safeguarding partnership guidance and staff demonstrated a clear understanding of what to do if they had concerns about a child's welfare. However, staff remained unclear about the procedures to follow in the event of allegations being raised. Therefore, safeguarding practices in the setting remain a concern.
p.2
Summary of outcome
We found that new procedures had been implemented to monitor children's absences. This includes contacting parents and where appropriate other professionals when children do not arrive at the setting. However, the systems for recording children's daily attendance remains ineffective. Records did not show an accurate list of children in attendance. This means that children's safety is compromised, particularly if there was an emergency evacuation.
p.2
Summary of outcome
We found leaders had taken action to improve their vetting and recruitment procedures. This helps to ensure that robust suitability checks are carried out for all staff and individuals who have access to children. Leaders have improved their supervision arrangements for staff. There are now formal meetings held with staff where they can discuss their professional development. There are opportunities for them to discuss confidential matters with regards to themselves and the children. There is also evidence that supervision has a focus on the safeguarding of children. We found that leaders had implemented safeguarding training for all staff. Although, this has helped to improve some aspects of their safeguarding knowledge, it was evident that significant gaps remained. In particular, training provided for staff does not adequately equip them with the knowledge they need to prioritise children's welfare in the event of allegations being raised. Therefore, this aspect remains a concern.
p.2
Summary of outcome
Leaders have taken steps to ensure that staff speak with children in both their home language and in English. They have also enrolled some staff onto an English language learning programme to further strengthen their communication skills. Improvements support children to have opportunities to learn to communicate in English.
p.3
Summary of outcome
Leaders have implemented improved support for staff to ensure they are able to meet their roles and responsibilities as a key person. They have introduced new tracking and monitoring systems to help staff in identifying children's progress including any early signs of developmental delay. All key persons are now fully informed of their key children's individual health needs. They are aware of how to manage children's dietary needs and any medication that may be required. Leaders have also implemented new procedures so that parents do not bring food items into the nursey that could compromise children's dietary needs This helps to safeguard children with food allergies.
p.3
Summary of outcome
Leaders have implemented behaviour management training for all staff. They are continuing to model practice in the rooms. This helps to ensure that staff promote consistent and positive techniques to manage children's behaviour. All children including babies now have access to outdoor play. Leaders have drawn up a rota to ensure that all groups of children benefit from outdoor learning opportunities. In addition, leaders have ordered new outdoor equipment to ensure this meets the needs of all children including the youngest children attending the setting.
p.3
Summary of outcome
During the regulatory visit on 8 June 2026, we also found new areas of concern. This means that the provider was not meeting other requirements as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage.

The impact is that staff have an improved knowledge and understanding of the settings child protection procedures. This includes the procedures to follow in the event of allegations being raised. Staff have received further training and guidance on the management of accident and incident records. There is now more focus on the importance of recording information accurately and in a timely manner. This helps to ensure children's health and wellbeing is prioritised.

Regular monitoring of the environment and resources helps to ensure that any unsafe or broken items are removed immediately. The provider has improved the monitoring of children's attendance records. This helps to promote safe practice as accurate records are vital in supporting staffs' oversight of children. In particular in the event of an emergency evacuation being required.
