p.1
Information about this children’s home
At the time of the inspection, no children were living at the home.
p.1
This monitoring visit
The home was judged inadequate at the full inspection on 24 November 2025. Compliance notices were served under Regulations 12 and 13 of The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015. Following this inspection, additional concerns were raised to Ofsted from external agencies regarding the safety and welfare of the children. A monitoring visit was undertaken in December 2025, and the registration of the home was suspended.
p.1
This monitoring visit
Further monitoring visits were undertaken in January 2026 and March 2026, when the provider had not taken sufficient action in either of the compliance notices. The home was not ready to accommodate children and the suspension notice remained in place.
p.1
This monitoring visit
At this visit, the suspension notice had been complied with, and no children were living at the home. At the last inspection, the record of admission was unavailable as it had been archived. It remains unavailable. However, the manager has introduced a new admissions and discharge register.
p.1
This monitoring visit
At the last inspection, the home did not have a leadership team. A new manager was appointed and has applied to register with Ofsted. The newly appointed Inspection report for children’s home - monitoring visit: 2796475 2 responsible individual is due to leave the organisation. The home has 5 staff, which is sufficient to care for 2 children. These staff are currently redeployed to another children’s home within the organisation.
p.1
This monitoring visit
Improvements have been made in the children’s environment. A new fence has been installed in the garden and seeds have been sown for the lawn. The conservatory has been refurbished, with lace curtains fitted. Drainage in the children’s bedrooms has been repaired. However, one bedroom has a hairline crack in the ceiling.
p.2
This monitoring visit
Leaders and managers have established new structures and processes in response to the previous requirements set during the full inspection on 25 November 2025. However, this is yet to be implemented as there are no children living at this home.
p.2
This monitoring visit
These requirements are restated and will be reviewed at the next inspection. The provider’s registration is no longer suspended. Inspection report for children’s home - monitoring visit: 2796475 3
