Leadership and governance Needs attention

The childminder is beginning to build links with the local authority early years team to access training and professional development opportunities to further support and enhance her knowledge and practice. The childminder shows an awareness of areas where she would benefit from additional development, particularly in relation to the curriculum and how interactions support children's learning and development. She can identify what she does in her day-to-day practice and is starting to reflect on the learning intentions behind activities and how these support children's progress. Her confidence in planning and delivering purposeful interactions continues to develop. She maintains a positive attitude towards improvement and shows a clear willingness to engage in relevant training to strengthen her knowledge and practice. The childminder demonstrates an understanding of how to keep children safe. She knows
