The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last visit. We found the provider's risk assessments helped to ensure children's safety. The environment was organised and hazards, such as unsafe storage of chairs had been removed, which minimised risks to children. The fire exits were clear and provided easy access out of the building should an emergency arise. The provider had also ensured the kitchen area, including fridge and work surfaces, were clean and hygienic. These measures helped to ensure children's good health. The bathrooms were clean, adequately stocked with appropriate toiletries, such as toilet roll. The bathroom was also safe and hazards, such as boxes of nappies, had been removed. We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
