Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 20 January, 5 February, 6 February and 9 February 2026, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting requirements relating to safeguarding policies and procedures, qualifications, training, support and skills, supervision of staff, suitable people, paediatric First Aid and staff: child ratios.

p.1

Summary of outcome

In addition, on 7 May 2026, the provider notified us about matters relating to safer eating. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of significant events.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 7 May 2026, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements.

p.2

Summary of outcome

On 24 June 2026, we visited the provider to monitor the actions. We found that the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of recruitment procedures and has put additional training in place for staff to improve their knowledge on safeguarding practices. Mealtimes have been reviewed and adapted so children are always within sight and hearing. Support has been put in place to ensure that staff promote children's positive behaviour and to help children to understand the expectations of the setting. The provider has reviewed support and training opportunities for staff to develop their practice and ensure that they are suitable to fulfil their roles. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
