Leadership and governance Urgent improvement
The childminder has allowed her paediatric first-aid training to expire. This means she does not have the most up-to-date information on how to treat injuries and illnesses in children. The childminder has not maintained her setting to ensure it is suitable and ready to receive young children. She lacks the appropriate equipment and resources to create an enabling environment for children. This includes basic equipment to support children in their toileting, feeding and sleep routines. There are also no available age-appropriate toys for children to play with in the setting. The childminder does not hold public liability insurance to protect her business and household members. The childminder intends to work with parents and other professionals involved in children's care. Since her registration, she has not evaluated the setting to demonstrate her ability to identify areas for improvement.
