Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: GENPRIDE LTD 1 GENPRIDE LTD
p.1
Inspected under the social care common inspection framework
p.1
provider
The service is owned and operated by a private provider. It offers accommodation for up to 6 children in care and care leavers in one shared living home. At the time of this visit, the service was suspended and could not support any children.
p.1
provider
The organisation and the nominated individual, who is the director, registered with Ofsted in March 2025.
p.1
provider
The registered service manager left on 6 June 2025. The service has been without a registered service manager since this time.
p.1
provider
During a full inspection on 29 October 2025, significant concerns were identified. As a result, compliance notices were issued under regulations 4, 5, 11 and 17 of The Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023. A notice restricting accommodation, which prevented any further children from using the service, was issued on 21 November 2025 due to the concerns identified.
p.1
provider
On 9 January 2026, a monitoring visit was carried out. This found that the provider had not met the steps outlined in the compliance notices, and they were therefore restated. Due to the continued failure to meet the requirements of registration, Ofsted issued a notice to suspend the provider’s registration. The visit was carried out to review the suspension notice that was in place.
p.1
provider
On 26 March 2026, a second full inspection was carried out. Continued failings were identified with the fitness of the provider and the leadership and management arrangements, affecting the safeguarding arrangements for children. Furthermore, additional shortfalls were identified with maintaining the safety arrangements of the premises. The suspension notice remained in place following this inspection.

p.2
This monitoring visit
During this visit, the nominated individual confirmed that they had taken no action to address the shortfalls that had been identified and raised previously.
p.2
This monitoring visit
The leadership and management arrangements remain insufficient to ensure that children can live in safe accommodation and receive adequate support from staff. The steps identified in the compliance notices that were issued during recent monitoring visits and raised again as requirements during the last full inspection have not been met.
p.2
This monitoring visit
The financial viability of the organisation has once again been questioned. Information that the provider has uploaded to Companies House shows the company has a significant amount of debt. Although the provider claimed the information was incorrect, they could not provide updated, accurate financial accounts.
p.2
This monitoring visit
During the visit, the provider submitted an application to Ofsted to cancel their registration. Ofsted accepted this application. Inspection report for supported accommodation provider - monitoring visit: GENPRIDE LTD 3
