Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundationstage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 13 May 2026, we received a notification that the provider might not be meeting requirements relating to staff:child ratio, special educational needs, accident or injury and risk assessments.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, to notify Ofsted of significant incidents.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 14 May 2026, we received concerns regarding the same matter.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 18 May 2026, we received a further notification from the provider relating to safeguarding matters.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 19 May 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found there had been an incident where a child had left the setting unseen by staff. Although there had been a breach in requirements, the provider had taken action to put this right. For example, any equipment children might use to climb on has been removed from the perimeter fence, staff are working with parents and professionals to support children and additional measures, including safety netting, has been added to fencing in the nursery garden.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
During the visit, we found that the provider did not have suitably robust risk assessments in place.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We have issued an action for the provider to take.
p.1
Summary of outcome
• improve risk assessments and where needed, make a record of these to give clear and precise directions to help identify and minimise risks for children. On 2 June 2026, the provider responded to the action set. We found that the provider had significantly improved their risk assessments. Where needed, this included clear written directions and actions to take to minimise potential risks. T he information supplied suggests that the provider is now meeting the requirements of their registration. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
