Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 6 February 2026, the provider notified us about matters relating to medicines. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of a significant event.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 26 March 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. For example, the provider had reviewed and improved their processes for the storage of medicines, ensuring these are stored safely. Staff had received further training to ensure they safely administer medicines in line with up dated procedures. We are satisfied that the provider has taken the necessary steps to ensure medicines are safely stored and administered.

p.1

Summary of outcome

At the visit on 26 March 2026, we found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 26 April 2026, we found that the provider had not met some of the actions set in the welfare requirement notice. We extended the deadline of the welfare requirements notice to 30 April 2026 to allow the provider more time to address these. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 20 May 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit and found that the provider had ensured that staff had access to a designated safeguarding lead. The deputy has completed additional safeguarding training to improve their knowledge and understanding of the safeguarding processes and procedures to follow if they had a concern. The deputy has had received support and mentoring from another provider linked to the provider, and the Local Authority Advisors, to enable her to be more confident in implementing her role as deputy. The provider has completed supervision sessions with the staff to identify their professional development needs and support their welfare.

p.2

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
