Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

They had taken appropriate action to carry the required insurance to cover the childcare premises. We found the provider was not meeting some of the other requirements. We served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

We found that the provider has taken steps to ensure that staff who work with the children are able to use and maintain records in English. This helps to support effective information sharing to ensure children's welfare and wellbeing. The provider has reviewed and improved the key person system. This helps to support children to build consistent relationships. The provider now ensures that there is a named deputy to manage the setting when the manager is not present.
