Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2.

p.1

Summary of outcome

If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 31 March 2026, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. We suspended the provider's registration because we believe children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children. The provider has a right to appeal against a suspension. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so. The report card and inspection outcome will be published in due course.

p.1

Summary of outcome

Following the inspection, we served a welfare requirements notice on 13 April 2026. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out.

p.2

Summary of outcome

On 8 April 2026, we carried out a telephone regulatory call to monitor the actions with the end date of 7 April 2026. We found the provider has improved her knowledge of safer eating and safe sleep guidance. She has improved her procedures for monitoring children when they eat, and the arrangements for children to sleep safely. The provider has updated her procedures for recording information to ensure that she can share records upon request.

p.2

Summary of outcome

On 8 April, we lifted the suspension because the provider took appropriate action to deal with the matter that led to the suspension. We are satisfied that the identified risk of harm to children has been removed.

p.2

Summary of outcome

On 20 April we carried out regulatory visit to monitor the actions with the end date of 15 April 2026. We found that the provider has improved her knowledge of healthy eating and nutrition guidance. She has strengthened her procedures for understanding and managing children's behaviour and has developed her knowledge of risk assessment and good hygiene practices. She has also improved the strategies she uses to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and implemented effective daily routines to meet children's individual needs.

p.2

Summary of outcome

Additionally, during the regulatory visit on 20 April 2026, we found new areas of concern. This means that the provider was not meeting other requirements as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage.

p.2

Summary of outcome

We have served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.2

Summary of outcome

n ensure that appropriate procedures are followed in line with the requirements to obtain references for assistants.

p.3

Summary of outcome

On 7 May 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare action, raised at their regulatory event. We found that the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of safer recruitment and obtained references for assistants. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.3

Summary of outcome

However, due to ongoing concerns regarding honesty and integrity we are taking steps to cancel the provider's registration. The provider has a right to object to our intention to take these steps.

p.3

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.3

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
