Leadership and governance Needs attention
Since the last inspection, the childminder has failed to notify Ofsted of persons living on the premises to enable full checks of their suitability. That said, following a discussion with the childminder, she does have some suitability checks in place, which reduces the impact on children.
p.1
Leadership and governance Needs attention
The childminder explains her strengths and areas for development for her provision. She has taken steps to improve her knowledge of safeguarding through training and has clear procedures in place. Furthermore, the childminder explains how training has helped to upskill her knowledge and understanding to better her practice.
p.1
Leadership and governance Needs attention
The childminder demonstrates an understanding of how she will support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and when to seek specialist support. In addition, the childminder talks about how she will support children who face other barriers to their learning. For example, the childminder explains how she will use additional funding effectively to help children to make progress in their learning and development. The childminder talks about the value of developing effective partnerships with parents and carers and including them in their children's care and learning. Where children would attend an additional provision, the childminder explains she will share key information to ensure continuity of care.

About this inspection
We carried out this inspection under sections 49 and 50 of the Childcare Act 2006 on the quality and standards of provision that is registered on the Early Years Register. The registered person must ensure that this provision complies with the statutory framework for children's learning, development and care, known as the early years foundation stage.
p.3
About this inspection
There were no early years children present and/or on roll at the time of this inspection. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with leaders and an inspection of the premises, equipment, and any relevant documentation. When there are no early years children present, inspectors only evaluate and grade leadership and governance as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess the impact on children of other evaluation areas.
