p.1
Leadership and governance Expected standard
The childminder demonstrates a clear understanding of her responsibilities under the early years foundation stage and is committed to providing high-quality education and care. She knows her setting well and has an accurate view of her strengths and priorities. This understanding guides the decisions she makes about how she organises her environment, which remains warm, homely and responsive to the differing needs of children. Her curriculum choices reflect the context of the families she serves and show thoughtful consideration of how children's experiences within the local community can enhance their learning.
p.1
Leadership and governance Expected standard
The childminder recognises her responsibilities for supporting disadvantaged children and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Although she has not yet cared for children with these needs, she is confident in identifying emerging concerns and seeking appropriate advice. She works closely with parents and understands how to engage with the local authority, when additional support is required. This developing understanding of inclusive practice demonstrates her commitment to ensuring that children, who may face barriers to their learning or wellbeing, receive timely and appropriate help. The childminder reflects regularly on the quality of her provision and considers how well her curriculum and interactions support children's progress. This reflective approach helps her identify what is working well and where further development would strengthen her practice. She takes part in a range of training opportunities, including webinars and professional

About this inspection
There were no early years children present or on roll at the time of this inspection. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with leaders and an inspection of the premises, equipment, and any relevant documentation.
