p.1
Leadership and governance Expected standard
The childminder demonstrates a secure and well established understanding of the setting's context. This includes the strengths she has developed over many years and the areas where she recognises need further development. The childminder draws effectively on her local knowledge of the community, which enables her to make informed and responsive decisions that prioritise children's safety, and well being. The childminder maintains up-to- date safeguarding knowledge through ongoing training. She has clear policies and procedures in place for managing concerns, allegations and record-keeping. This ensures that children remain safe and protected at all times.
p.1
Leadership and governance Expected standard
The childminder organises resources thoughtfully and manages her workload in a way that supports both the smooth running of the provision and her own wellbeing. She fulfils statutory duties reliably and does so without compromising the overall quality of care she provides. Since the previous inspection, she has taken prompt action to address identified weaknesses, including renewing her paediatric first-aid qualification, demonstrating her capacity to sustain compliance and meet expected standards. This reflective and proactive approach highlights her commitment to continual improvement and to providing a positive, nurturing environment for children in her care.

0 to 0
There were no early years children on roll at the time of this inspection. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with the childminder and an inspection of the premises, equipment, and any relevant documentation. When there are no early years children present, inspectors only evaluate and grade leadership and governance as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess the impact on children of other evaluation areas.'
p.3
