Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 10 February 2026, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

The report card and inspection outcome will be published in due course. Following the inspection, we served a welfare requirements notice on 24 February 2026. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out.

p.1

Summary of outcome

n take prompt action to gain the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to fulfil the role and responsibilities of a childminder registered with Ofsted

p.1

Summary of outcome

n ensure that there are suitable arrangements in place to support children with Special educational needs and/or disabilities.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 22 March 2026, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection. We found that the provider had responded to the actions set. They have improved their knowledge and understanding of their role and responsibilities as a childminder registered with Ofsted. They have reviewed the arrangements to ensure they are suitable to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. However, during the visit we found the provider was not meeting some requirements. We have therefore served another welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. Furthermore, the provider had not notified Ofsted of significant information. This is an offence, however, on this occasion Ofsted are not taking further action.

p.1

Summary of outcome

The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. Actions needed by 6 April 2026

p.1

Summary of outcome

n improve the organisation of indoor premises, to ensure that the overall floor space is fit for purpose and suitable for the age of children being cared for

p.2

Summary of outcome

n improve risk assessment procedures to ensure that any potential hazards or risks are identified promptly, and action is taken to remove or minimise risk to children

p.2

Summary of outcome

n ensure that the first aid box is equipped with appropriate items for use on children in the event of an accident

p.2

Summary of outcome

n ensure all those who take responsibility for preparing and handling food understand how to fulfil their roles and responsibilities and are competent and qualified to do this.

p.2

Summary of outcome

We will monitor the provider's response to ensure the actions are successfully completed. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.2

Summary of outcome

On 30 March 2026, the provider notified us of their wish to resign their registration. We accepted their resignation and they are no longer a registered childcare provider.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
