Leadership and governance Expected standard
The childminder discusses how the evaluation of her practice would give her a secure insight into areas that are working well and help her determine relevant goals to build ongoing improvement. She holds early years professional status and has attended various training courses to support her learning and development. For example, the childminder attended a course on supporting children's mathematical development. This helped to provide greater awareness in this area to promote best outcomes for children. The childminder demonstrates understanding of how to provide an ambitious, inclusive curriculum to meet the needs of children, including those children who require extra support. About this inspection
There were no early years children present and/or on roll at the time of this inspection. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with leaders and an inspection of the premises, equipment, and any relevant documentation. When there are no early years children present, inspectors only evaluate and grade leadership and governance as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess the impact on children of other evaluation areas.
p.3
About this inspection
