Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at http://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 5 December 2025, we identified concerns relating to suitable people, references and changes that must be notified to Ofsted or the relevant childminder agency (CMA).
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 13 March 2026, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found that the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. The provider had failed to notify Ofsted of a significant event which is a requirement of their registration. We issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
• ensure procedures are in place to check the initial and ongoing suitability of individuals to work as a childminder assistant
p.1
Summary of outcome
• ensure that references are obtained for any assistants before they are recruited.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 25 March 2026, the provider responded to the actions set. We found that the provider had introduced recruitment procedures to ensure references are obtained and verified before an assistant starts work. In addition, procedures are now in place to ensure the suitability of individuals is checked prior to them commencing in the role. Ongoing supervision of assistants, through observation and regular reviews, supports continued assurance of their suitability. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
